Windows:
Execute (as Administrator where required) the MuPAD Pro 3 setup program and follow its instructions. Starten Sie (ggf. als Administrator) das MuPAD Pro 3 Setup Programm und folgen Sie den Anweisungen.
MacOS X:
Copy the MuPAD Pro 3 archive on your hard disk. Unpack it with a double mouse click, if necessary. On your desktop appears a new virtual disk which contains a subfolder MuPAD Pro 3. Copy this subfolder on your hard disk. Kopieren Sie das MuPAD Pro 3 Archiv auf Ihre Festplatte. Mit einem Doppelklick auf diese Datei entpacken Sie das Archiv, sofern dies nicht bereits geschehen ist. Damit wird es auf Ihrem Desktop i.d.R. automatisch als virtuelle Festplatte sichtbar. Kopieren Sie den darin enthaltenen Ordner MuPAD Pro 3 auf Ihre Festplatte.
Linux:
Install (as user root) the MuPAD Pro 3 package by executing the command dpkg -i <mupad_package>.deb or rpm -Uhv <mupad_package>.rpm, respectively. Installieren Sie (als Benutzer root) das MuPAD Pro 3 Package durch Ausführen des Befehls dpkg -i <mupad_package>.deb bzw. rpm -Uhv <mupad_package>.rpm.

Network Installation Installieren im Netzwerk

If you own a floating or server license and want to install MuPAD Pro 3 in a network, then install it on the file server and register this installation of MuPAD Pro 3 by entering your license key. Wenn Sie eine floating oder server license besitzen und MuPAD Pro 3 in einem Netzwerk installieren möchten, dann führen Sie die Installation zunächst auf dem File-Server aus und registrieren Sie diese Installation von MuPAD Pro 3 durch Eingabe Ihres Lizenzschlüssels.

On a Windows operating system additionally execute (as Administrator where required) the program win32\ClientSetup\MuPADProClient.exe, located in the MuPAD Pro 3 installation folder on the file server, on each client of the file server, on which you want to use MuPAD Pro 3, afterwards. Unter dem Betriebssystem Windows führen Sie (ggf. als Administrator) zusätzlich das Programm win32\ClientSetup\MuPADProClient.exe im MuPAD Pro 3 Installationsverzeichnis des File-Servers auf jedem Klienten des File-Servers aus, auf dem Sie MuPAD Pro 3 nutzen möchten.

Note: On a Windows operating system the MuPAD Pro Setup and ClientSetup can optionally be executed with the command line parameters /SP- /VERYSILENT /SUPPRESSMSGBOXES. Using this, the installation runs in a batch mode without any further interaction. Hinweis: Unter dem Betriebssystem Windows können Sie das MuPAD Pro Setup sowie das ClientSetup optional mit den Kommandozeilen-Parametern /SP- /VERYSILENT /SUPPRESSMSGBOXES starten. Die Installation erfolgt dann automatisch im Hintergrund ohne weitere Interaktion.

Starting MuPAD Pro 3 Starten von MuPAD Pro 3

Start MuPAD Pro 3 either via the start menu of your graphical user interface or by executing the program file MuPAD or the shell script xmupad on Linux systems, respectively.

If MuPAD Pro 3 displays the license dialog then enter your user name and license key.

Starten Sie MuPAD Pro 3 entweder über das Startmenü Ihrer grafischen Benutzeroberfläche oder durch Ausführen der Programmdatei MuPAD bzw. des Shell Scripts xmupad auf Linux Systemen.

Wenn MuPAD Pro 3 den Lizenzdialog öffnet, dann geben Sie Ihren Benutzernamen und Lizenzschlüssel ein.

Start MuPAD Pro 3. If MuPAD Pro 3 does not find a valid license, it opens a dialog where you can enter your user name and license key. Starten Sie MuPAD Pro 3. Falls MuPAD Pro 3 keine gültige Lizenz findet, wird automatisch ein Dialog geöffnet, in dem Sie Ihren Benutzernamen und den Lizenzschlüssel eingeben können.

Otherwise, click on the menu item Help ⇒ Register..., enter your user name and license key and click on the OK-button. Andernfalls wählen Sie den Menüeintrag Hilfe ⇒ Registrung... an, geben Sie Ihren Benutzernamen und Lizenzschlüssel ein und klicken Sie auf OK.
